Uniform Information

Bollin School Uniform Policy


In order to maintain a strong sense of identity and belonging within our school, we require all pupils to wear school uniform which consists of;

Grey skirt or pinafore

Grey trousers

Bollin navy blue polo shirt

Bollin school sweatshirt

Bollin school cardigan

Red gingham dress  

white or grey socks

Black school shoes (not trainers)

Grey tights/grey socks

Grey trousers Grey shorts


PE Kit (To be kept in school during term time)


Navy blue shorts or navy blue joggers (no logos) •

White Bollin PE Shirt

Trainers or black pumps 

Bollin school sweatshirt

Bollin PE hooded top


All the uniform is available from Tesco online which includes, sweatshirt, cardigan, polo shirt, PE t-shirt, reversible coat, book bag, PE bag, and cap. You will also be able to order dresses, skirts, trousers and shorts.


A winter PE kit is now available which includes navy blue joggers and a zipped hooded top. The only item unavailable from Tesco is the water bottle which the school office will still be supplying.


To order from Tesco you need to log on to the website and select our Local Authority (Trafford) and then School (Bollin Primary School). Jewellery Pupils are not permitted to wear jewellery to school, especially as individuals become very upset if a treasured piece of jewellery goes missing. Should a pupil have pierced ears, plain studs should only be worn, and in order to comply with health and safety regulations, must be taken out or covered with a plaster during all PE activities.


Make Up No make-up or nail varnish should be worn.


Hair The school does not permit children to have 'extreme' hairstyles. The definition of an extreme hairstyle is at the discretion of the Headteacher. Long hair should be tied back during Physical Education lessons for health & safety.
