Mental Maths skills need to be reinforced and practised at home regularly. Please Note: Children are expected to know all of their times tables and corresponding division facts up to and including 2,3,4,5,6,7 x 12.

Additional Information

Homework will be handed out on a Wednesday and should be brought back into school no later than the following Monday (unless advised otherwise). It should be completed independently, however, please feel free to write on the work how your child found it or if you have any questions. Homework will generally consist of a piece of Literacy, Numeracy and Spellings. Occasionally homework will be related to our topic work. Your child's work should be presented as neatly as possible at all times.

We greatly value the home - school partnership so please come and talk to us and let us know if your child has any concerns or if there is anything your child needs support with. As mornings are always very busy, the end of the day, once all children have been collected is the best time if you need a quick word. If you need longer, please arrange a suitable time.

It is essential that your child has their P.E kit in school at all times.
Indoor PE - White Bollin t-shirt and navy shorts.
Outdoor Games - White Bollin t-shirt, tracksuit bottoms/leggings, Bollin sweatshirt and trainers.

This NAMED kit will remain in school, in a Bollin draw string bag, and then taken home every half term.

If you child is unable to take part in PE then a letter must be brought into school informing the teacher of this ASAP.

If your child is taking part in an after school sports club please ensure they do not use there school PE kit and a separate kit is brought in on that day.

What do I do if I have a concern?

If you have any concerns about your child, please first speak to the class teacher. If the concern continues please make an appointment to speak to Mr Hampton who is the Key stage leader.
