Welcome to the Bollin Parent & Teacher Association (The Bollin PTA)

We aim for our children to:

The Bollin PTA is a registered Charity run by parents of children at the Bollin Primary School.

The objective of Association is to advance the education and wellbeing of the pupils in the school in particular by:

• Develop effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.
• Engage in activities which raise funds to support the school and advance the education and wellbeing of the pupils attending it.

Membership

• All the parents and guardians of pupils of the school.
• All teachers and staff at the school

The Committee

The management of the Association is governed by a team of parents comprising of 2x Co-Chairs, 2x Treasurers and a Secretary as well as the Executive Head.

How it is run

The Bollin PTA has one meeting per term where all parents and staff are welcome to attend. Events and activities are then run throughout the year by individual teams of parents.

Each class has a WhatsApp group set up, and we ask that each class have 2-3 reps each year. Those reps then form part of a Class Reps WhatsApp group where the PTA share information about upcoming events, activities and general school reminders.
